Inspired by the cultural parallels between Buenos Aires and Bangkok, BKK Social Club at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River is led by Berlin-born industry veteran Philip Bischoff, formerly of Manhattan in Singapore. The bar blends glamour, sophistication and conviviality with lush, garden-inspired interiors, cascading greenery and semi-outdoor courtyards perfect for enjoying a cigar.
Its latest cocktail menu shifts its focus from Argentina to Mexico City, drawing inspiration from the city’s people, places and vibrant party culture. Highlights include the Chichen Itza, a bourbon-based milk punch with pineapple, lime, strawberry, banana, sesame milk and coffee, and the Frida Kahlo, a floral sour featuring lavender maple and maraschino.
The food menu similarly bridges cultures, pairing Mexican dishes with Thai flavours and showcasing spicy, sour, fresh and rich profiles. Alongside inventive cocktails, the bar offers house-made infusions and macerations, an extensive bottled selection and a substantial champagne collection. Its warm hospitality and distinctive drinks have helped establish BKK Social Club as a fixture on both Asia’s 50 Best Bars and The World’s 50 Best Bars lists.
