Located at unit #01-285 in Tekka Centre, Ajmer Sharif serves what many consider one of the best mee goreng in town. Each plate is generously studded with smoky morsels of mutton, crunchy bean sprouts and cabbage, bits of egg, fresh green chilli, peas, and tender potato cubes.
The yellow noodles are deeply infused with flavour and wok hei, yet remain satisfyingly firm — wonderfully mouth-watering without a trace of greasiness. It’s a testament to serious work control and frying finesse. Notably, the dish isn’t overloaded with red colouring, letting the natural flavours shine through. At just $ 4, it’s an exceptional value.
Beyond mee goreng, the stall also offers hearty favourites such as nasi goreng, mee kuah, chicken chop, roti john, mutton soup, and tulang bone steak — making it a reliable go-to for robust, comforting fare.
