Yut Kee

Asian Cuisine

Established in 1928 on Jalan Dang Wangi, this beloved kopitiam has been run by three generations of the Lee family, serving timeless Hainanese fare. Five years ago, Yut Kee relocated to a larger space on Jalan Kamunting, bringing along its iconic signboard, cake counter, and vintage mirrors.

The menu remains rooted in tradition, with signatures like the chicken chop smothered in rich brown sauce and served with fried potatoes. Regulars also flock for the Hainanese noodles (Hailam mee), roti babi stuffed with roast pork, and the nostalgic marble cake. The coffee, made from beans sourced through a family relative and dark roasted, delivers a robust, bittersweet finish.
