East End Cellars

Wine Bar

Tucked into a laneway just off Rundle Street, East End Cellars is woven into the heart and soul of Adelaide’s East End. Drop in for a tasting and you may find winemakers in-store, chatting and pouring their own bottles. With a focus on local and international artisanal wines, it’s the kind of place where discovery is part of the experience and unfamiliar drops often become new favourites.

Inside, the open kitchen buzzes with energy, giving diners a glimpse of their food as it comes together. A recently refreshed menu showcases seasonal, locally driven dishes, alongside the venue’s much-loved charcuterie boards. The Tasting Room on Vardon Avenue is made for lingering—settle in with a glass of wine and, when hunger inevitably strikes, order a ploughman’s platter or a toastie. The standout is the marinated mushroom and smoked mozzarella toasted sandwich, packed with juicy, earthy mushrooms and gloriously melty, smoky cheese. With a generous selection of small plates, soups, pâté and toast, plus an exceptional wine list to enjoy on-site or take home, East End Cellars is an easy place to lose track of time.
