Thai Cuisine
Soei is a beloved local Thai restaurant serving some of the most boldly flavorful dishes in Bangkok. Chef P’Soei, a former athlete and coach, has always carried a deep passion for cooking. After games, he would invite his teammates home, cooking for them—meals so memorable they quickly became legendary. Today, Soei sits in Bangkok’s Piboon Whattana neighborhood, tucked into a welcoming, home-like space. The menu is expansive and nearly foolproof, but standout dishes include pla goong pao—roasted freshwater prawns with a chili–lemongrass dressing—boo nim pad pongari, a rich soft-shell crab yellow curry, and Soei’s iconic deep-fried crispy mackerel heads.
