Their menu is filled with a variety of native seafood such as fresh Maine lobster steamed over rockweed, fried clams, wood-grilled fish, and steaks. The historic dining destination is popular as the birthplace of the Baked Stuffed Lobster, created by Alexander Boone. This dish is made with Maine lobster stuffed with scallops and lobster, secret seasonings, chives, parsley, mayonnaise, and cracker crumbs to hold it together. After the lobster is stuffed, it is ladled with drawn butter and browned in the oven until a golden-brown crust is formed.
