Located on the first floor of the bustling central market of San Lorenzo, Nerbone’s food stall has been serving up steaming plates of warming nourishment to hungry market workers since 1872. It is a great place to taste delicious local foods at rock-bottom prices. Nerbone is opened only during the morning. The specialty is lampredotto (cow’s intestines) served in a bun with bright green salsa verde. They also serve pasta, soups, roast meats, and different kind of sandwiches.
