Smorrebrod is spectacular in Copenhagen and Schonnemann is the essential stop. But there are many other spots to enjoy this national treasure. One favorite is Aamanns where the "Brods" come both fully assembled and partly assembled to customize your brod with pumpkin seeds, radishes and sauces. Don't miss their fabulous potatoes. They feature a long list of homemade schnapps and you should try lovstikke (lovage). Another highly recommended spot is the Michelin Bib Gourmand Selma - here everything is fully assembled and quite pretty.
