Tacos El Taconazo is open 24 hours and serves a variety of meat tacos, burritos and tortas. Tacos include adobada (marinated pork) shaved from a trompo (vertical spit) by a skilled taquero. Their tacos of beef tripa (small intestine, far right) are widely considered to be the best in TJ. Cooked until crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, the tripa is extra flavorful as it absorbs the taste of the other meats and offal with which it's fried. It is served on two hot, just-made corn tortillas - order con todo (with everything): plenty of onions, cilantro and a spicy red salsa are added.
